Basker makes it simple to manage your website’s pages and structure. Here’s an overview of how to access and work with your pages:
1. Accessing Your Pages
To manage your website’s pages, navigate to the ‘Pages’ screen within the ‘Website’ section of Basker. This is your hub for viewing and managing all the pages on your site.
2. Using the Page Tree
By default, you’ll see a page tree view that displays your site’s structure. This allows you to:
• Re-order pages: Click and drag pages within the tree to adjust their position. The order and hierarchy of pages in the tree affect your publicly visible site structure.
• Expand sections: Click the arrow next to a page that contains sub-content to reveal its child pages.
Note:
If your website uses a standard Basker theme, changes to the page tree structure are reflected automatically on your public site. However, if you’re using a custom theme or a bespoke integration via the API, you may need to consult your developer to ensure the changes to your site structure and navigation are applied correctly.
3. Switching to List View
If you prefer a different view, you can click the ‘Switch to List View’ button. This mode displays your pages in a simple, searchable list format.
4. Searching for Pages
Need to locate a specific page? Use the search bar to find pages by their title quickly. This is particularly useful for sites with extensive content.
5. Performing Batch Actions
The ‘Pages’ screen also supports batch actions to help streamline your workflow. Select multiple pages to perform the following actions:
• Publish: Make selected pages live on your site.
• Unpublish: Remove selected pages from public view without deleting them.
• Delete: Permanently remove selected pages from your site.
Managing Your Site Structure with Ease
Whether you’re adding, rearranging, or maintaining your pages, the ‘Pages’ screen in Basker gives you the tools you need to manage your content efficiently.
