Configuring the Tessitura App in Basker

The Tessitura app in Basker enables seamless integration with your Tessitura system, allowing you to:

• Connect with the Tessitura REST API

• Integrate with TNEW

• Automatically import and sync event data

To configure the app, follow these steps:

1. Enabling the REST API Connection

Before you can sync data, you need to connect Basker to your Tessitura REST API:

1. Enter your Tessitura REST API endpoint.

2. Confirm your API version (either 15 or 16).

3. Enter your API credentials, which include:

Username and Password

Location (this is the machine location from the Tessitura database and must be a single-word string).

🚨 Note: If you’re unsure about retrieving these credentials, speak to your Tessitura system administrator or contact Tessitura support.

4. Click the ‘Test Connection’ button to verify the API details.

2. Enabling TNEW Features

If your organisation uses TNEW, you can enable additional features:

1. Check the ‘Enable TNEW’ box.

2. Enter your TNEW domain.

3. Provide the necessary details for session sharing, including:

Passphrase

Salt

Key

3. Mapping Tessitura Data to Basker

To ensure seamless data integration, you can map Tessitura data to fields in Basker at two levels:

Event level – Links high-level event details to corresponding fields in Basker.

Instance level – Maps specific performance dates and times to Basker’s structure.

Customising these mappings ensures the correct data flows from Tessitura into Basker, keeping your event information synchronised and up to date.
